We are happy to invite all combinatorial people from the Nordic countries, as well as all combinatorial people related to the Nordic countries, to participate in the 9th Nordic Combinatorial Conference, to be held in Bergen on November the 23rd and 24th.
Professor Golomb will give a plenary talk, entitled "A COMBINATORIAL PROOF OF THE DIVISIBILITY OF
CERTAIN ENTRIES IN NUMERICAL TRIANGLES"
Plenary lecture
In addition to the conference, on November the 21st and 22nd, and on occasion of the 60th anniversary of Tor Helleseth, the Department of Informatics organizes the "A Helleseth Symposium"; there will be a series of invited lectures on coding theory and cryptography given by some of his many coauthors. The lectures are open to all, and the participants in NORCOM 2007 are in particular invited to attend. There is no registration fee for "A Helleseth Symposium".
