Navarra

Season: Spring (yet to start)
Year: 1202
Location: Navarra

Our covenant is being founded at the year of our lord 1202. We haven't played to first saga yet (much to my distaste, because I already have the saga done for a few weeks now, even though I'm not the alpha-sg), and I don't recall having choosen a name (though the sage will surely suggest a few ones... <evil grin>).

Anyway, we are established in Navarre (sp?) territory, in the Pirineus (sp?). That could bring us some trouble, since we come mostly from Aragon and south of France. Most of our mages come from other tribunals, so we may face some rejection. On the bright side, our covenant is of low aura, is not too close (as far as I know) from any other covenant, and have no vis source. So, we are not stepping on anyone's toes.

On the mundane side, the liege lord of this land is not interested in it (it has no outstanding resources, it's out of trade routes, and is too distant from his land), so it has ``given'' the land to our Jerbiton (i.e., the Jerbiton also have the responsibilities toward the vassals of the land).

Mmmm... I do not remember the names of the mage who would probably go to the tribunal, I'm afraid. Anyway, the Jerbiton would go, and would most likely defend our right to the land (which shouldn't be difficult). The Tytalus would certainly go, since their house loves the in-fighting. He would probably have no agenda, except more power to us, but may have to face a few subtle accusations of demon worshipping. He has that fame among the Quaesitoris, and events concerning the yet-to-be-run saga may be used to further raise suspicions, although no (true) evidence of any kind is to be found. The Quaesitor will most likely go, and bring his concerns to the tribunal: the excessive intrusion in mundane affairs (our covenant must provide protection and judge to the mundanes of the land). He does not expect his concerns to merit any attention, though. His integrity is above suspicion, and will answer any questions truthfully, both pro and against his own covenant (and its members).

The Flambeau may want to go too, just for the sake of the trip. In the covenant will stay a Merenita, a Bonisagus and a Criamon.
