How to get there:
This top is located south of Synnfjellet. When driving on the road connecting Dokka to Lillehammer,
fork left near location N60.9344, E10.1392. The road is signed for Synnfjell. After about 10 kilometer,
stay left again, do not drive towards Synnfjell. Continue to Hugulia, then onwards on a toll road,
(NOK 60 in 2023, credit card payment). After about 3 kilometer, look for parking (summer?), there is not
much available in winter. Ask to park on a private spot, if necessary.
Route:
Follow a local road up to location N61.03947, E9.76713. Continue on an old forest path, then aim
directly for the summit.
Comments:
It was a very grey and foggy day. Snow showers and not a very good day for any outdoor activity.
I decided to take my car and explore some local tops on the west side of Dokka.
No spot to park, I ended up at the very top of the small access road. The owner of the cabin up
there was very friendly and allowed me to park next to his car. I left at 1350 and made the
summit by 1420 after a small navigational mistake. I had fog and limited visibility. Another 15 minutes
back down, then onwards to my second goal for the day, Høgda.
