Information:

How to get there:
This hill is located near lake Oalen, elevation 686m. The best access in summer is likely the forest roads on the north side. In winter, the best access is likely from Skjørlia, about 2 kilometer slightly south of the east side. You can drive there on a toll road (NOK 60 in 2024).
Route:
See above for recommended routes. I started from the west side, not recommended.
Comments:
After Munkhatthøgda I had time for a second top. I ended up taking the toll road going west from Jøronlia, then a second toll road that continued to lake Oalen. This was likely not a very good choice, but certainly a possibility. I parked near location N60.97913, E009.84142, in a spot where the road was wide enough to let a car pass. I was ready to ski around 1550, the route ahead had many unknowns, I knew it was likely to be late before my return to the car.
The first challenge was to climb the vertical snow bank facing the road, then proceed north staying about 30 meter higher than the lake. Slightly complex skiing in the forest before emerging onto open land west of Høgda. A next mistake was ascending the small hill at 720m, thinking that it connected to the bigger hill - bummer! I finally ascended a more gradual and very skiable slope, slightly on my left side of the main ridge. Higher up, more forest but not difficult. The summit was between trees, no view today as I also had fog. The time was 1705, absolutely time to start skiing back. The return was easier as I avoided my mistake and generally followed my tracks. Back at 1745, the time would be 1900 before I had driven then skied back to my vacation home.
