There are 9 Ultras in France, of which one is on an island (Corsica).
There are 43 peaks having at least 1000 meter of prominence, of which 5 are located on Corsica
and 3 are located on the border (1 with Switzerland, 2 with Spain).
In order to climb the 50 finest restricted to be located inside mainland France, one would need to include
10 peaks beyond the first 50.
Two stars behind the rank means that I have climbed it (15/50).
