Information:

How to get there: The nearest city is Taos, north of Santa Fe.
Route description: We started hiking up a valley to a nice place called `Bull in the Woods pasture', from there the trail turned more towards the summit. The hike is an easy and pleasant walk on mostly grass, but also some rocks and a bit of snow. The hike is long enough to fill a day.
Comments: The first 4000 meter mountain together with my son Tor Erling, 11 years old. There is a marmot living at the very summit.
