We stayed at hotel LUX, previously known as Grand Hotel du Lagon. This hotel is a 5 star hotel and made a good impression. The minor details that I pointed out were promptly corrected. In fact, the hotel management did a very good job to ensure that our stay lived up to the high expectations that one should have to a hotel of this class. See the map for location. What was clearly not communicated well to us, is the fact that it almost never rains at this location. My wife had consulted yr.no for at least 10 days before leaving Norway. This weatherservice forcasted rain every single day for the next 10 days. We arrived on February 21st. and left on March 1st., there was no rain during this period. The daytime temperature stayed between 30C and 33C, the sea temperature was stable at 30 Centigrade.
