How to get there:
This mountain is located on Sognefjellet. The very nice road (Hwy.55) connecting Luster (west)
with Lom (east) normally opens late April or early May. Good starting points are the
DNT hut Krossbu or the Sognefjellshytta located slightly further west. Driving time from Bergen
is about 5 hours. Sognefjellshytta is located at N61:33.906, E007:59.877, elevation 1416 meter.
Route description:
First, see Storebjørn.
From the saddle between Storebjørn and Veslebjørn,
proceed directly up the ridge. Comments:
I arrived on this nice summit around 1145.
I spent about 10 minutes at the top, looking around. A nice ridge connects
this peak with the subsidiary peak called Skeie (2118 m).
This was the second peak climbed on this near perfect day. I then proceeded to
climb Saksi.
