Information:

How to get there: This mountain is located south-east of Salzburg. The train and the trail leaves from the tourist village named Wolfgang. Look for signs. The trailhead is located at approximately 557 meter of elevation with location N47:44.618 E013:26.273.
Route description: Once you have located the trailhead, the rest is trivial. Head up the trail until you reach the summit.
Comments: This was the excursion of the DD17 conference. 150 participants took the train, while 4 guys, Oliver, Rob, Ralf, and I hiked the mountain from the village of Wolfgang.
Rob started out with a strong pace and for a while it looked like I would fall way behind. As the hike continued, I improved relative to the others and I made the summit as the second man. Total elevation gain of approximately 1230 meter (from the trailhead) was completed in 90 minutes, ie., slightly more than 800 vertical meter per hour. We had sunshine and close to 30 centigrade, needless to say, this was (at least for me) a tough workout.
