Information:

How to get there:
Drive from Bergen towards the airport Flesland /ยด(Hwy. 580). Make a right in the traffic circle after passing the big Telenor building on your left. This road is Hwy. 173. Drive 1.9 kilometer. You should be going downhill in a big right turning curve. Watch for the small road called Storrinden that forks left. Drive a short section and locate parking for 3-4 cars on your left. This is the first trailhead, location N60:18.359, E005:15.850, elevation about 85 meter.
You may continue on the small road that heads slightly uphill, to a somewhat larger parking area at location N60:18.515, E005:15.330, elevation 100 meter. This is the second trailhead.
Route description:
From the first trailhead, hike along the small road that heads (gradually) uphill until you arrive at the second trailhead where the road is closed by a gate. Continue along the road, you may take an obvious short-cut going left to save a big left curve on the road. Either way, this little raod will take you all the way to the summit.
Comments:
I had retrieved my car after a Friday party, then decided to visit a few local tops in the south part of Bergen. The first one, Storrinden, I had just noticed on my map. A very impressive name, perhaps better for a peak of at least 1500 meter. I parked at the first trailhead at 1025 and arrived at the summit around 1040. Interesting place with many signs of military activity. I was back down at my car by 1100.
