Information:

How to get there:
From Grimstad, drive about 10 kilometer along Hwy. 404 (north). Turn right onto Hwy. 36 and continue about 8 kilometer to a small place called Hørte. Here, a small forest road runs essentially all the way to the summit. This road has a sign that restricts traffic (no public driving). Therefore, find parking off this road, perhaps close to a small road fork where the correct road goes right. I parked at location N58.45748, E008.48282, elevation about 175 meter.
Route:
Follow the road to the summit. The road makes a distinct left turn near some rather large forest working area. Finally, the summit road forks right about 500 meter from the summit. At the very end, continue on a small trail about 50 meter to the cairn marking the Grimstad high point.
Comments:
I had time before my meeting in Grimstad, drove to the trailhead and parked shortly after 1000. I left the car at 1006, arrived at the summit at 1031, then returned after gentle running at 1045.
