Information:

How to get there:
Drive Hwy. 7 to Norheimsund, turn south on Hwy. 49 and continue past Tørvikbygd (where the ferry crosses to Jondal). Drive past the lake Eidesvatnet, then turn left on the first possible road serving local farms. Keep left, then more left passing around some greenhouses, next fork right and arrive at the trailhead, location N60.26581, E006.15123, elevation about 75 meter. Ask about parking if possible.
Route:
The road continues, but passes through two locked gates. If the farmer is around, he may let you walk along the road, as he may then unlock the gates. Otherwise, one has to bybass this area by hiking around the fenced area on the right hand side. Next, this forest road runs almost to the summit. As you get near a big powerline (mast), take a smaller (old) tractor track forking right, then bushwalk the last couple of meter to the highest point. There is a big rock with a metal bolt next to a small wooden structure. There is no view.
Comments:
I spoke to the farmer. He was OK with parking and unlocked the two gates. I took 20 minutes up and 10 minutes on the return.
