Information:

How to get there:
From Bergen, drive north on E-39, cross the large floating bridge, and continue across the next bridge to Knarvik. In the traffic circle, turn left onto Hwy. 57 (sign for Mongstad). Follow this road through a traffic signal, then uphill about 2 kilometer. Now, look carefully for a small road that forks left. The road has a road sign reading Erstadvegen. Take this road and continue uphill. Shortly after reaehing more level terrain, you will find a traihead with a sign for Kvamsfjellet on your right hand side. It is possible to park off the road just a few meter further along on the right hand side. This location is N60.57874, E005.26108, elevation about 155 meter.
Route description:
The trail runs quite gently and first arrives at a small, local hill with a mobile network antenna. This place is called Svarthamrane. Continue onwards, there will be a trail fork where a sign says Kvamme. Do not follow this, but keep right and continue the very gentle slope up to Kvamsfjellet. There is a cairn, and a visitor register, with a sign at the top.
Comments:
This trail is quite flat and very easy to follow. I left at 1435 and arrived at the summit at 1500. The return hike took about 20 minutes.
