How to get there:
This mountain is located on the island of Stord.
From Bergen, travel E-39 to Halhjem and take the ferry to Sandvikvåg.
The ferry takes 45 minutes and departs every 20 minutes.
Turn right after exiting the ferry. Drive to Fitjar, then make a left and find the
road serving the wind turbins. There is a big parking at location
N59.90817, E005.37173, elevation about 270 meter.
Route:
A traverse of this mountain is the
recommended route. Follow the trail in the direction
of your choice. The summit is a pretty distinct top. Comments:
I was in the area with my wife Heidi. She was collecting "stolper", (Stolpejakten).
I left her at the north end of lake Svartavatnet and did a traverse going south.
