Information:

How to get there:
Drive Hwy. 13 from Rosendal, all the way west, then south following the coast passing the small village of Husnes. Continue about 15 kilometer after Husnes. Look for a sign that says "skisenter" going left while the main Hwy. continues only a short stretch to a ferry connection. Drive the smaller road about 3 kilometer, in a right curve, a dirt road heads left, up the valley. Take this road, it will get you to the ski center. Park here, this is a good starting point. Pay NOK 20 for parking at a self serve system on the wall of the ski center building. This location is N59.81738 E005.91364, elevation about 200 meter.
Route description:
Head directly up the ridge, then follow the broad ridge to the summit. A storm has destroyed part of the very lower forest, pick your way through this belt in a location that avoids too much trouble.
Comments:
I stayed at Rosendal hotel and decided to do this peak before breakfast. The morning drive was nice and I started hiking around 0535. The walk took about 1:10, arriving at the unmarked summit around 0645. I enjoyed the view and took some pictures, then headed back down. I was back at the car at 0800 after a very nice morning.
