How to get there:
This mountain is on the island of Bømlo south of Bergen.
This island may be reached via
a long suspension bridge (toll) from the main Hwy. E-39.
The trailhead/parking is located at N59.75583, E55.27249, elevation 28 meter.
Route description:
Follow the forest road uphill to a saddle near elevation 123 meter. A smaller
forest road turns sharply right and continues to ascend. It changes into a trail
higher up and continues to the summit. The first summit point appears to
be highest. One may continue a bit more and notice a small cairn
(only some rocks)
on the left side of the trail before the trail starts to descend.
Comments:
I did this climb with my friend Kjell.
We would complete the climb of 6 P-100 hills on Bømlo.
The trip to/from this hill is quite short and easy.
This was our fifth peak, the next summit was Vardafjell.
