How to get there:
This hill is located northeast of Seim, a small community along Hwy. 57 (signed for Mongstad). More precisely, the hill is located between Storavatnet (south end) and Tveitavatnet. A local road runs south and west of the hill. A good trailhead is located at location N60.64266, E005.29945, elevation about 53 meter, along this road. There is parking at a turnout about 200 meter further south along this road. This location is N60.63990, E005.29922, elevation about 60 meter.
Route description:
From the trailhead described above, an old forest road forks off from the paved road. Follow this road across a small crest and a bit down on the far side. Next, find some natural passage or small trail that heads uphill to your right. Follow smaller trails and or easy terrain to locate the highest point. The high point is located in a forest and there is no marker.
Comments:
I parked at the turnout described above and headed straight uphill. This worked well and I arrived at the summit about 15 minutes after leaving my car. I still decided to explore a somewhat more civilized route back down and thus hit the road at the trailhead described above. Walking back to my car, I decided to visit one more hill (Sollikammen) before calling it a day.
