Information:

How to get there: This mountain is just west of Gjendesbu at the western end of the lake Gjende.
Route description: There is a trail leading to the summit starting essenially at Gjendebu. The climb is quite easy.
Comments: I did this trip with my son Tor Erling, age 9 years. We had been hiking the classic route from Gjendesheim across Besseggen, Memurubu to Gjendesbu. This climb was just a "last bonus" before catching the boat back to Gjendesheim. We came upon a big reindeer bull just below the summit. The view from this summit of the Gjende lake makes the climb very worthwhile.
