How to get there:
The easiest access to this mountain starts from the old road crossing Haukelifjell.
From the DNT hut Haukeliseter, drive west along E-134. North of lake Ulevåvatn, do not
drive into the tunnel, but take the old road that forks right. Continue to location
N59.83988, E007.04361, elevation about 1100 meter. There is an old road here where a car
can pull off the main road.
Route description:
Head directly uphill, then traverse slightly left in order to enter
the obvious passage that heads more right at the upper part of the slope.
As you reach more level terrain you will see
the summit ridge a bit
further ahead. Continue across easy terrain,
then ascend towards the right and
gain the very small summit point.
Comments:
I was attending a DNT mountaineering meeting at Haukeliseter. I decided
to skip lunch and rather try to get some outdoor exercise.
It took me 45 minutes to reach the summit, then another 40 for the descent.
