Z-INF - Software Testing Foundations

Autumn 2011

The Department of informatics, University of Bergen, is providing a special curriculum on Software Testing Foundations in cooperation with Dataforeningen, Faggruppen for software testing. The course is 10 study points. It is a special curriculum, handled outside of studentweb and miside.

The curriculum is based on ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level, see ISTQB - Norwegian Testing Board, with extra material as covered by the lectures.

The course runs every Monday, 1415-1800 in room 2144 (stort auditorium) Høyteknologisenteret.

The course is concluded with a home exam (semester report) November 14-25, 2011.
The semester report is to be written by groups consisting of two students, should be 8-12 pages long (A4, normal font size and margins) plus a front page with title, course, date and active authors, plus a section with the original problem desciption. The report may be written in Norwegian or English.
Handin: email a pdf version of the report to the study consultant Steinar Heldal by noon Friday November 25.
Students and problems will be randomly assigned to groups. Any student having problems meeting up for the handout must email Steinar Heldal by 0900 (am) Monday November 14.
