in the 1. house:
A bizzare appearance, a desire to shock and seem different. Piercings or
fancy coloured hair. Perhaps natural deformities. If in a conjunction with
the Ascendant, all the more pronounced. In a lesser degree if Uranus
aspects the Ascendant. For negative aspects, the 6. house may give an idea
of the actual deformity. A positively aspected Uranus will give instead an
appearance of brightness, perhaps a streak of geniousness. A first house
uranus may not be a natural leader, but will be seen!
in the 2. house:
Finances are eclectic; money arrives from unusual sources and probably
departs as quickly. The person may spend money on bizzare things, and
their value system will be out of the ordinary. A tendency to buy modern
or technical stuff, though a heavy Virgo placement might give them a flair
for little oddities.
in the 3. house:
This person may not have had normal schooling, and a child with this
placement will likely benefit from unusual systems or training. There
may well be a flair for writing, or an unusual relationship with
siblings. Badly aspected, they could have been the odd one out among
their peers in childhood, or have changed schools often; well aspected, a
very bright child, noted by his teachers.
in the 4. house:
Restlessness and lack of roots for the negatively placed; this person
is likely to move often. Positively placed, their home is unusual,
perhaps ecological or extremely avantgarde in design or decoration. Her
parents (depending on the placement of moon and saturn) could be
alternatively or magically inclined, or scientists.
in the 5. house:
Performance artist, polyamorous or simply bright children. There is a
fondness for modern art or unusual artforms. Experimental and creative,
this person copies no Master. In romance he or she enjoys the bizarre,
and affairs may be purely intellectual. Platonic love and love-spells
are both ruled by this placement. A study of uranus in the 5., 7. or 8.
house vs. sexual preferences, could be interesting.
in the 6. house:
The person may suffer from inexplicalble illnesses, or be extremely
high-strung. Nerval problems are likely, and if very badly placed;
forms of madness such as split personality, schizophrenia, or other
third eye difficulties.
Work and service is unusual, and the natural sciences or humanities are
likely career choices. There is inventiveness, perhaps a touch of
Jack-of-all-Trades.
If Uranus conjuncts the Descendant, the humanism is pronounced, but the
illnesses may also be physical and visible.
in the 7. house:
As with Uranus in the 5., love affairs will be unusual and
unconventional forms of partnerships may issue, such as polygamy,
marrying in a parachute or celibacy - all as much for shockvalue as
anything else (pending other chart factors). In business partnerships
they may be erratic, but always willing to test new methods of
diplomacy.
If Uranus conjuncts the Descendant, all are emphasised, and
people may find the person 'weird'. The person will not react
conventionally to others.
in the 8. house:
Sexual perversions, or simply a very inventive bed partner. Their view
of death will be out of the ordinary - hating or playing with it, but
never neutral. He may be a genius with other people's money, expert at
writing testaments, or at new ways of aquiring loans (possibly a lawyer
if conjunct the MC). Life's mysteries will fascinate them, and they will
have odd theories about everything. These people could believe in the
stork bringing babies, reincarnation, or that we're the spawn of
aliens.
in the 9. house:
Discordian, Zen buddhist, atheist, or any 'fringe' religion promoting
humanism or eccentricity. This person does not tread the beaten path
when searching for the meaning of life, and his education will be as
unusual. Whether the school of life, a degree in Astrology, or a
Doctorate on some obscure desease.
in the 10. house:
Erratic, changing goals, espescially if conjunct the MC. A career in
science or astrology is likely. Modified by other factors; e.g. computer
programming if Mercury is involved, or holistic magick if Neptune is
involved. They may be striving for the Age of Aquarius, or simply be
unable to stick with one job for any length of time.
in the 11. house:
Humanistic, civil rights activist, or fringe organisation, this person
needs others to lead or plan (depending on the placement of Mars, Sun and
Saturn), but their leanings will be radical and their opinions creatively
expressed. They are at the forefront of any post-modern or unusual
activity, and will easily aquire a mass of libertarian or intellectual
friends.
Uranus conjunct the MC in this house may mean an extremely humanistic
career, e.g. a doctor volunteering for work in an impoverished country.
Especially if Neptune is involved.
in the 12. house:
Erratic subconscious or unstable energy. Any planet in this house is hard
to grasp, and Uranus no less, because the crazyness doesn't show in any
way on the surface. The person may feel alienated or as an unappreciated
genius. Psychic gifts are likely, but without a prominent Neptune or well
aspected Pluto, they may be weak. Negative aspects may indicate a mental
illness, while positive could show a unique insight into the psyche. All
these factors are even more prominent if Uranus conjuncts the Ascendant.
