The Sun in the 1. house
If conjunct the Ascendant or even if just in the same sign, the sunsign will be extremely pronounced. What you see is what you get. The person is assertive, self conscious and proud. Pending the sign, the person will be a natural leader, and likely the centre of attention. Personality and persona closely match, and even if the Sun and Ascendant are in different signs, both will be clearly seen. The self is not hidden behind a mask. The person brings his whole soul into any project he starts or joins.

The Sun in the 2. house
Finances and values are of great importance to the person - the sunsign wil show in what manner. They probably have a clear set of ethics and a good grasp of money. They are honourable, and may profit from a career in banking or as a stockbroker. The values of integrity, self consciousness and self expression are very important to them, and a well aspected sun will show this in measure.

The Sun in the 3. house
A writer or teacher later in life, yet the person's prime was at school. Much effort was put in the early years of education, and - if well aspected - the child was probably the pride of both teachers and peers. If Mercury is involved, the child should be encouraged to write a diary - they will enjoy it. A Venus aspect could mean a flair for poetry. The person is likely to be communicative and adept at expressing her views, but could be more fact-oriented than able to put her knowledge into wisdom.

The Sun in the 4. house
The home is of utmost importance to the person, and his prime years were likely at home with the family. He will put effort into creating a family of his own and probably has an excellent sense of 'roots'. He is not likely to enjoy the light of publicity, and prefers privacy and - depending on the sign - lonelyness. Whatever his family did, it has probably affected him deeply, and he will likely perpetrate the trend of behaviour. Yet with his own flair and in his own particular style, unlike the moon which tends to copy slavishly. He was probably the star of the family, doted on by everyone, and loved, cherished - and perhaps envied - by all.

The Sun in the 5. house
Self expression is heavily pronounced with the sun in its natural house. The person shines with a creative flair, and whatever the art form, will pour her very soul into her creations. She is favoured by children, because she knows how to bring out their essence and uniqueness, and will join in their play with a child's innocence. In romance she shines also, but may outshine the person she loves, simply because she uses affairs to express herself, rather than encourage the self expression of the partner. A humble sign position such as Pisces may offset this, though.
