  • Primary factor 208 m
  • California
  • Location: North 36:27.31, West 118:33.31
  • Climbed June 1984

Information:

How to get there: One drives the narrow, winding road into Mineral King. This is located near Sequoia National park in the southern part of the Sierra Nevada.
Route description: There is a good trail leading up to a small lake at the base of the mountain. From the lake I basically followed a straight line more or less to the summit. The last part was characterized by big boulders. The summit itself consists of a couple of huge rocks, but it is not difficult to get up on the highest point (easy class 3 move).
Comments: The view to the pass in the north as well as west and to the east is very good. The nearest higher peak is Needham Mountain to the east. The connecting saddle is interpolated to 3554 meter.
