How to get there:
The Gore Range can be reached from various
dirt roads going west from the main road going
north from Silverthorne (US 9) in Summit County,
west of Denver along I-70. Route description:
We reached O on a route directly from Lost Lake.
Lost Lake was reached hiking on several trails,
in particular one, which is no longer in use and
therefore requires some care to follow. We started
at the end of an access dirt road that definitely
only can be driven on by a four wheel drive truck
or jeep with high ground clearance. Comments:
The area is remote and seldom visited.
This mountain is not ranked, its higher neighbor (parent) being
N, but only with a vertical drop of about 50 meters.
