How to get there:
This peak (volcano) is located in the Cerro Verde
National Park. The park has visitor facilities including
a nice hotel on/near the summit of Cerro Verde, one of
three volcanoes in the park.
The park is located north-west of the capital San Salvador.
There is parking for visitors near the top. This location is
N13.8268, W89.62417, elevation about 2020 meter.

This peak is a very short walk (a couple of steps) from
the parking lot.
There is a fenced in antenna area.
The corner of this fence is pretty high,
however, it seems that the highest point is a few more meter away from this fence.
The highest point has a marker.

We walked by this point on our way home to the hotel after
climbing Izalco.
