How to get there:
The best access is from the hut Laola, see under Almanzor. Route description:
The trail from the hut Elola follows the trail to Almanzor, but then
forks right up a rather narrow gorge partly filled with large
boulders in the lower section.
Higher up, the trail passes some very nice sections (a small valley)
with grass and flowers. After a slightly steeper slope one gets onto
the main ridge which is broad and gentle in this area. The next section
of the trip goes through a small boulder field and ends abruptly, where
a sharp cut separates the summit from the place you are standing.
However, it is an easy climb down (about 20 meters) to the bottom
of this characteristic gap, then a similar scramble up on the other side.
The very last section looks hard, but a double ledge around on the
left side and then easily to the top. Comments:
I traversed from Almanzor and returned down the trail to Laola after
making this climb. The whole trip took about four hours with plenty
of stops, photos and snacks. The trip is highly recommended.
