  • Climbed: July, 1993.

How to get there: The mountain is located in The Smoky Mountain National Park, however, there is a road almost to the summit.
Route description: From the parking lot, just follow a short path to the summit.
Comments: There are other, more interesting trails leading to the summit. The Appalachian Trail crosses the summit along the ridge and nice hikes can be made here. This mountain is really a hill more than a mountain in my terminology, there are trees growing all the way to the summit. However, it is the highest point in Tennessee and even more notable, the third highest point in the US east of the Mississippi river.
