How to get there:
My starting point was Katesh near mount Hanang. This point is located
east of the Hwy. (T14) connecting Katesh to Babati.
Route description:
First locate the village Duru about 32 kilometer north-east of Katesh.
Fro Duru, drive east towards Gorowa. About 2 kilometer from Duru, just
before crossing a col, go left (uphill) along a very small track, it may
look more like a path. Follow uphill and along the top crest to the summit.
Comments:
We visited this highpoint while driving from Katesh (after climbing
Hanang) to Arusha. This involved careful navigation along several
minor dirt roads and tracks in the area.
