Information:

How to get there:
The most direct climb/route starts from the small valley extending inland from Olden, a small tourist village in Nordfjord right next to Loen.
Route description:
One can start at the farm Sunde in Olden and ascend Sundsdalen up to Foraegga (1642 meter) at the edge of Jostedalsbreen. Form here, ski northeast to Gjerdeaksla. Note that this mountain has two distinct summits, almost of equal height. Continue across from the second summit to Strandanibba.
Loen Rundt:
Ski down the nice slope from Gjerdeaksla to the saddle at approximately 1630 meter, then ascend Strandanibba. This mountain also has two summit areas of almost equal height. The west summit has a nice view down to Olden and the Olden lake. The east summit served us well as a spectacular camp site. The next mountain along the route is Ramnefjellbreen.
Comments:
I climbed this peak as part of the Loen Rundt ski trip, that I organized in 2012.
