How to get there:
This mountain is right up the slope from the former
mountain hut Styggevasshytta. The lake Styggevatnet has been
regulated for hydro power and the old cabin is now under water.
The normal approach used to be from Sotasæter, however
there is now a road up to Styggevatnet from Jostedalen. Route description:
The route starts from the lake, there are no
particular difficulties. Comments:
I did this ski climb with my friend Jostein. We traversed the
peak and crossed Sprangdalen on
our way to Nørstedalssæter.
