Information:

How to get there:
Exit E-6 in Vinstra, going west on Hwy. 255 signed for Skåbu. Turn right in Kvikne, about 8 kilometer from E-6, then left to drive the toll mountain road that heads north. Continue on this road until you find parking very close to the highest point of this road. This is location N61.61764, E009.54778, elevation near 1130 meter.
Route::
First, take the trail from the trailhead towards the mountain. This trail actually gradually runs a bit too far east, but one should follow it until you get to a single cabin, called Ljoshytta on the map.
From here, follow a smaller trail that heads directly uphill. Eventually, just set your direction directly towards the peak. The terrain is nice and easy to hike almost everywhere. The upper part has more rocks, but overall the terrain is easy. The summit cairn is located near the south end of the short summit ridge.
Comments:
I left at 1340m and arrived on top at 1515. It was windy and a short stay was in order. My return hike took 1:24.
