How to get there:
A good trailhead can be accessed from the road SP-44. This road crosses the land between the south-west and the south-east parts of lake Como. My access came from the town of Como driving north on the east side of the lake on road SP-583. The roads are generally both narrow and have many curves. Sort of a nightmare to drive for tourists as well as local bus drivers!
Take the small side-road that branches off SP-44 near location N45.89697, E9.20773. Continue on this until you arrive at location N45.90380, E09.19412. There is a gate here as well as a sign saying "P" (Parking), but then Tourismo Acrimo. A house is located up on your right. Ask permission to park there. Granted if asked, if you are unable to find someone, then better park at some turn-out along the last section of the road that leads here.
Route::
A quick summary of the peaks climbed in Italy 2022.
From the trailhead area described above, the trail to the summits runs initially on the left (looking uphill). Walk slightly downhill, you may have to cross a small fence, the trail runs uphill on the left side of this fence.
Higher up, this trail continues uphill, now on top of the ridge. Initially, among the trees before breaking out into the upper slopes having grass. The trail becomes much smaller here, but it should still be easy to follow. Making a few smaller turns, but generally heading towards the summit.
Comments:
I left at 1030 and arrived on top after 55 minutes. It was hot and sunny, a short break with water and views. Good views of the lake going north, but also a nice view south.
