How to get there:
This report describes taking the train. The base station
is located at location N45.90306, E08.97888. There is parking nearby.
You can pay for parking when you buy the ticket at the railway station.
Parking is 7 Swiss Franc and a round trip ride another 68, - Switzerland is
still expensive! This is summer 2022.
Trains typically run once every hour, in 2022 trains would leave around half
past every hour. The return train starting from the top left at 15 minutes before
the hour. The ride takes about 40 minutes, each way.

Exit the train. Walk up the steps and follow
the obvious route to the nearby summit.
The vertical gain is about 100 meter and the hike should taake 10-15 minutes each way.
Comments:
I arrived before 0930, but wasted time to understand the parking. There was a ticket
machine there and instructions saying you should place a ticket inside your car.
The machine accepted Euro and Swiss Franc, but no credit cards. It turned out that
the information was wrong or misleading. One can pay for parking at the station.
You need a token to exit, the station will provide you with one. All this resulted
in me missing the train by 2 minutes, unfortunate!
The train ride was ok,
nothing exceptional. The hike was likewise quite trivial.
I took the first possible train back down
and continued to my second objective
of the day, Il Mottarone.
