How to get there:
Drive to Os (the main Hwy. from Bergen to Stavanger), turn left in the traffic circle in Os (measure from here) and take Hwy. 552 1.5 kilometer, then turn left on the road with signs for Samnanger. At kilometer 5.7, watch for a small road going right. This road is named Eidsvegen. Take this road and go straight in the very first road fork, then keep left at kilometer 5.9 and again left at kilometer 6.0. Shortly after you cross the local pass, make a left at kilometer 6.6, then keep right at the next fork and park on the right hand side of the road at kilometer 6.8. The road continues uphill but is closed by a gate. This is the trailhead, location N60.21577, E005.53578, elevation about 138 meter.

Route description:
Continue uphill along the road, then more level until the road curves right and starts to descend. Turn left here, but do not follow the main trail. Rather follow the small creek towards a local pass, then find a vague path between the trees going right and uphill along the main crest of the hill. Continue until you arrive at the local high point. This is possibly the summit. However, there are two more local tops on either side of an old path a bit further ahead. Visit these also in order to be certain that the highest point has been bagged.
It was a pretty gray day, but a hike would be good. This was the last summit with at least 100 meter of prominence in the municipality of Os. I left my car at 1415 and visited the first summit around 1435. I then checked out the twoother possible high points. The forest makes it hard to judge the relative elevation. The forest also makes the GPS less accurate. My GPS indicated that the highest point was the one you arrive at first, ie. the one to the south. Happy with having visited all 3 candidate tops, I returned to my car at 1510.
