How to get there:
This mountain is near the island Tysnes. Tysnes is reached by ferry from Halhjem, south of Bergen. The ferry should go to Våge. However, Storhaugen is located on a separate island named Seløy. Seløy is about 500 meter from Tysnes, you will need a boat. We arranged a boat from the nearest community, Onarheim. Onarheim is located on the south side of Tysnes, about 25 minutes drive from Våge. From here, the boat ride is approximately 4 kilometer.

Route description:
We took the boat to location N59.92435, E5.67762, a small mini-bay where it was easy to get ashore. From here, the distance to the summit is about 300 meter. There are thorns that should be avoided, best to follow animal tracks, some bush-wack is unavoidable. The highest point is a small rock, otherwise no summit marking.
Comments:
We started from the main pier in Onarheim somewhat after 1800. Kjell, Harald og Endre arrived at 1800, while I had already visited several tops after an early morning arrival. Thus, the only remaining summit in Tysnes was this one, similarly for Harald.
Everything went according to plan, the hike itself pretty easy and uneventful. Many thanks to the young fellow (local) that provided the boat transport. We were back on Tysnes proper around 2000, just enough time to catch the 2030 ferry. A very nice sunset as seen from the ferry, concluded a long, successful day.
