Information:

How to get there:
Drive E-39 north from Bergen. Immediately before the long Eikefet tunnel, turn left towards Masfjordnes on Hwy. 570. Drive to Masfjordnes (a bit less than 30 kilometer), then continue along the fjord (do not take the ferry!) to the small community called Totland. Just after the road turns more north (in Andvika), locate a signed road that forks (slightly) right. After 1.1 kilometer, this road becomes a toll road. Stop and pay toll. Next, continue to lake Storevatnet. Fork left here, then keep left (uphill) at the next minor fork. Shortly, you will find parking on your right. This location is N60.83479, E005.40917, elevation near 200 meter. If your vehicle has some (ground) clearance, you may continue on a slightly rougher (but not bad) road, keeping left at all forks, until the road ends near location N60.83444, E005.40542, elevation near 285 meter.
Route description:
From the lower trailhead, continue up the forest road and keep left in order to reach the higher trailhead. The trail starts uphill a few meter before you get to the very end of the road. It is a small trail, but marked with blue and red ribbons. It is possible that this trail (late 2020) has not yet been marked all the way. In any event, just proceed directly uphill to locate the summit marked with a single rock.
Comments:
I arrived at the lower trailhead at 1530, after hiking Skjeggedalsfjellet. This should be a short hike, a bonus peak located in the same area, thus very tempting to visit when being here.
I started at 1530, planning to complete the trip within one hour since it would be dark around 1630. The hike was easy, quite the opposite of my previous hike. I followed the blue and red ribbons in the beginning, but then lost the trail and continued uphill. I arrived at the summit after 20 minutes. Reasonable view to the sea due west, lights from that area already visible. After 5 minutes, I returned back down to the forest road, then to my car. Another 20 minutes - a total trip time of 45 minutes.
