Information:

How to get there:
From Bergen, drive E-16 towards Voss (Oslo). You will pass Dale, the road then heads downhill to meet the fjord at Dalseid. (About 2.5 kilometer after Dale). Turn left onto Hwy. 569 here. Drive through 5 small tunnels and locate a small parking area on the left hand side of the road at location N60.62447, E005.82288, elevation about 25 meter.
Route:
Follow the forest road (rough, no driving) up the valley. You will pass a nice resting area, then cross the river and traverse a bit right, before the road again heads uphill staying in the same valley. When the road runs out, a trail continues on the left side. This trail leads uphill to a nice basin with a cabin. From here, continue directly uphill as you aim for a distinct gully that runs all the waay to the horizon. There is a small cliff-band that may be easily overcome a bit on the left side. Before the gully starts (the terrain is pretty wide), cross right and ascend easy slopes that gains the slope on your right hand side, ie. never enter the gully itself. Turn left again as an easy slope reveals itself leading towards the summit. Right below the summit, turn left to avoid steeper terrain and climb the final, easy slope to the summit.
Comments:
I left my car at 1120 and arrived at the summit by 1320, 2 hours. Very nice view in all directions. After about 15 minutes there, I descended the same route and arrived back down at my car in one hour.
I decided to visit Beitelen on my way home.
