How to get there:
Take E-39 north from Bergen to Trengereid. Turn right here to Modalen.
Continue through the long tunnel connecting Modalen with Eksingedalen.
Turn left going up the valley and drive about 15 kilometer, turn sharply
left up the small road serving the farm at Yksendalen. Park on your right
hand side without blocking anything, before the (open) gate where the road
goes more uphill. This is location
N60.83427, E006.22220, elevation near 580 meter..
Route description:
Follow the road towards the farm, turn left and walk on the side
of the farmed field until you see a natural crossing left across some
bigger rocks. A fence with a gate is right there. Go through this gate and
you will now find a red marked trail that runs from here and all the way
to the summit. Comments:
I did this climb with my friend Harald. This was the 3rd. summit of the
day and my last unclimbed summit (there are 63) in the municipality of Vaksdal.
The hike was straightforward.
It took us about 25 minutes up and 20 minutes back down.
