How to get there:
Drive E-16 from Bergen to the traffic circle at Trengereid. Go right here on Hwy. 7 towards Hardanger.
When you exit the tunnel near Tysse, go right in the traffic circle on Hwy 48 direction Eikelandsosen.
There is a long tunnel, then the road starts climbing.
Continue along this Hwy., look for a signed road going right to Holsund. Take this road and measure
from here. Drive 5,5 kilometer, just as you complete a large left curve, look for a rather small
road going left, up a small hill. There may be a sign saying Hundepensjonat here. Continue this
small road about one kilometer. You should now be at the end of the road, there is parking for one
car where some foot-paths fork right. This location is N60.24931 E005.61685, elevation about 120 meter.
Route description:
Take the rightmost path, continue right at the next fork. Follow the path until it
sort of runs out, but then you are only about 100 meter from the top. Continue off-trail to
the obvious summit. Comments:
I started out at 1455 and made the summit at 1510. After 10 minutes of exploring
around, I returned to the car in 10 minutes.
