Information:

How to get there:
Drive E-39 north from Bergen to Matre, this is immediately after you exit a long downhill tunnel. Fork right onto Hwy. 5442, signed for Ortevik. Drive to the north end of lake Stordalsvatnet. Turn left and find parking at a pretty large parking area at location N60.96480, E005.70427, elevation around 517 meter.
Route description:
A T-marked trail runs south-west towards Hellersbotnvatnet, 570 meter. Follow this trail to the north-west across a saddle then to a lake located at about 633 meter. Continue on the trail around the first part of this lake.
Leave the trail (just after crossing a short rocky section) and head uphill, pretty much directly towards the summit. The summit has two competing points. The easternmost is about 0.4 meter higher.
Comments:
I did this hike with my friend Harald. The weather was absolutely gorgeous. We left the car around 0950 and arrived on top at 1155. A brief stop, visiting the 2 competing high points. We returned in 1:40 and decided that we had time for a second mountain, before returning to Bergen.
