May be climbed from the DNT hut Kaldavass, access by train from Bergen to Upsete.
Route description:
I climbed this peak after climbing the bigger mountain Øykjafonn. Skiing south from Øykjafonn, keep left (east) to descend to the connecting ridge east of lake 1319m. Ascend directly south in a small valley, then gentle to the summit.
Comments / Trip report:
I did this trip with my friend Haraald Barsnes. We first climbed Øykjafonn, then continued to Skipanuten. The weather was near perfect and the snow pretty good aswell. I skied using my rando-skis.
