  • Climbed January 8. 2019.

How to get there:
The starting point is the Masai village called Gelai Bomba, see the description for Mount Gelai.
Route description:
The mountain is very characteristic and immediately noticed to the east of the village. First, walk across to the saddle, then ascend the lower part of the east ridge. Proceed uphill along the ridge. The terrain steepens and a few easy class 3 moves may be needed as you scramble up some rocks to reach easier ground. The final stretch is an easy walk. There is good view all around from this summit.
I did this climb as an afternoon stroll having climbed Gelai in the morning. The climb took about one hour including some photo stops and a brief rest on the summit.
