Information:

How to get there:
Drive to Voss, then continue on Hwy. 13 towards Granvin in Hardanger. Just after a toll crossing and before a pretty long (downhill) tunnel, turn left and enter the old road (before the tunnel was built). About one kilometer after the turn-off, the road turns right and you should leave this road going left on a smaller, local road. Follow this road as it climbs, keep left at a couple of forks and find parking near location N60.59798, E6.64338, elevation about 464 meter.
Route description:
Continue down the road and across the small river. Shortly, uphill you will find a road that forks right. Follow this with the river on your right hand side. When the road ends, continue along a red-marked trail that will clib gently through the forest to the summer farm house Dalset. Continue up the small valley (follow a smaller creek) to about N60.6177, E6.62485, elevation near 740m. Turn right and follow a natural ascending traverse north-east. The terrain is close to 30 degrees here, consider the snow and avalanche conditions. Higher up, this route brings you to more gentle terrain as you follow a small ridge north-west to the summit. The summit is marked with a very small cairn.
Comments:
This was a DNT topptur, ie. a ski trip to a local summit. Fredrik was co-trip leader, thanks a lot! We had 13 participants, so a group of 15. We had a break, just when the slope got steeper. The ascent time was about 2.5 hours. Good skiing back down. It seemed everybody enjoyed the trip, first skiing of the season for quite many.
