Information:

How to get there:
This mountain is the main (alpine) skiing mountain in Sweden. Thus it is quite developed, with many ski lifts, bike paths and trails. Locate the town of Åre in Sweden. This is on the highway connecting the city of Østersund with Trondheim in Norway.
Route description:
There are two main routes, they are numbered 215 and 214. Trail 215 is the eastern trail, it is nice aand largely undisturbed by other activities. Trail 214 runs more directly together with ski lifts and mountain bike trails. Thus, trail 215 is highly recommended. The summit has a hut that sells basic food (when open). There are various other structures as well.
Comments:
We stayed at the hotel named Fjällgården, a pretty nice location located quite a bit uphill (on the slopes) from the town of Åre. Leaving at 0845, we were at the summit by 1105. We spent quite some time there before heading down at 1145, arriving back at our hotel by 1330.
