Blizzard Run, a thriving trading community located on top, and on the shores of quadra island in british Columbia, Canada. Detailed scenery featuring many custom houses, open hangers, lake houses, float plane hangers, wooden docks, static vehicles, campers, and incorporating the new FS2002 smoke effects. This update adds the missing textures and the tree textures by Gerrish Gray.

Home of buck’s trophy hunting tours, blizzard run is a beautiful place to get away from it all or for doing a little sight seeing. Spectacular views, combined with plenty of natural beauty, abundant wildlife, and great fishing and hunting make this a tourist’s/sportsman’s paradise.

live the experience that is Canada. With no paved road system, access is limited to helicopter, hiking, small aircraft or by floatplane or boat.

Installation - unzip into a temporary folder, then place the “blizzard run” folder into the “add on” folder of your fs2002 main folder. Start the game and it should show automatically. You will have 4 start options. A main runway listing in the main menu, north America > Canada > british Columbia > blizzard run or go to the “add on scenery” selection and you will have listings for blizzard run and blizzard run 2 (which is the shoreline location and the float plane starting point).

This scenery is freeware and not intended for any financial gain! It is highly detailed and intended for higher end computers. Tested on an athlon 1.4 gig, with 512 ddr memory and a radeon 64 mb ddr card with favorable results.

I claim no responsibility for any damage you think this scenery does to your system

Many thanks to all the designers that contributed to the freeware macros that are available online and used by fs designers everywhere. This scenery would not have been possible without you all! Thanks to martin wright for his incredible editng programs and words of wisdom!

This is my 12th scenery and I always learn something new each time. Any comments or suggestions are always welcome.

If you enjoy this scenery, check out my Bears Outpost scenery also.

Enjoy!
