The browser package allows to display an HTML file from within an application or an applet. Basically, you just give it a Container (Frame or Panel) to display the output to and then call a method to open a URL. The package has been developed for use in a help system. There is a special feature that is useful for help system implementation. The text between <MENU> and </MENU> tags is treated in a special way: it is displayed in a separate window on top of the browser Container. This can be used for showing contents of a file for example. The feature can be turned off.
