Mercere

The history
I have written this history for a story based on the idea
for Enomil from Houses of Hermes - though in our saga she's called
Elvira. The challenge from the Unseelie Faerie king, Griika,
is just a kind of a riddle. The way to Elvira is the way of
her forefather - Mercere.
- 767 - The founding of the Order
- 770 - Mercere loses his gift.
- 780s - Mercere learns about the vast Anglo-Saxon lands, and
goes to England together with Diedne, to invite more Celtic Druids
to join the Order.
Later he starts cooperating with Tytalus and Tremere to expand
the Order and take advantage of the raw vis and magical auras of the
area. They are all, opposing Diedne, very afraid of the faerie power,
and less fond of the free individualism and independence of the
Druidic tradition.
- 789 - Mercere meets Merinita again. He is warned of intruding upon
the Faerie realm.
- 790 - Mercere is captured by the Cloaked Hunter and his host.
Three magi, filii of Mercere, Tremere and Tytalus, go to find him,
but the challenge from the faeries are hard. Several years it take
before their mission is completed and Irvil of Tytalus never returns.
- 790s - Mercere has given up further work in England for the time
being, but he is eager to learn more about the faeries.
spends most of his time investigating House Merinita and its
Primus, Quendalon.
- 801 - Mercere and his filii do their best to keep Quendalon in disdain,
and not let him turn House Merinita to his Faerie Ways.
Merecere cooperates with Tremere, Guernicus and
Jerbiton to organize the Order rather strictly.
