Algorithmica. Special Issue Celebrating the 60th Birthday of Gregory Gutin

Manuscripts are solicited for a special issue in Algorithmica dedicated to Professor Gregory Gutin on the occasion of his 60th birthday and in recognition of his outstanding contributions to Discrete Mathematics and Theoretical Computer Science with special emphasis on

  • parameterized and exponential algorithms
  • graph algorithms
  • directed graphs
  • combinatorial optimization and heuristics
  • information security.

The objective of this special issue is to collect the most important recent contributions to these areas.

Submissions should be submitted through the journal submission system The authors should indicate that the submission is for this special issue. Submissions must be received before March 31st, 2017.

Papers will be refereed according to the standards of Algorithmica. We promise to do our best to have the refereeing finished in a timely manner. In particular we will follow the following schedule.

  • Submission Deadline: March 31st
  • Reviews and first round of decisions: June 30th
  • Revisions: July 31st
  • Final Decisions: August 15th
