Ok, this is the first test of mixing two sounds together in two diff. mixes, and see if blind source seperation will give any result whatsoever. I do NOT! know what I'm doing yet, I'm only using a modified version of the matlab code: BASIC SOURCE SEPARATION CODE by Tony Bell.
Anyway, here we have two sounds, a hihat sound, and a pling'ish sound (from a 808), they are mixed, and seperated. Listen (the graphs do NOT look convincing) and be amazed?!
If you wanna know how it's done, or uhm... what the code does :D check out the code and samples (not the results) here.
