Using citation and the bibliography

A citation is a to quote a passage from a book, article or paper. When doing this one usually want a reference and a bibliography to be added to the document.

The steps

  1. Open books.bib
  2. Add an entry for the book, article or paper you are citing.
  3. In the .tex file where you are editing add the following: 
    "The quote" \cite{citationKeyword}.
    The next time you make the document there will be a reference in the text and a new entry will be added in Bibliography.
